We are the social-psychiatric service.

We are part of the health department of the city of Salzgitter.

You can get advice and help with mental health problems from us!

Mental problems are for example

- Anxiety,

- sadness,

- or when you hear voices.

We employ:

- a doctor,

- a social worker

- a health and nursing care worker,

- a medical specialist.

The medical specialist helps the doctor.

You can talk to us.

We will listen to you.

We are not allowed to tell anyone about our conversation.

The conversations are free of charge.

We also help with emotional crises.

Mental crises are, for example:

- You are very sad.

- You have terrible fears and don't know what to do.

- You want to hurt yourself or you have hurt yourself.

- You want to hurt or kill someone else.

- You are thinking about suicide.

We provide you with the right help.

Then we will visit you at home.

We can help you with applications to the authorities.

We arrange help for seriously mentally ill people.

For example, admission to a clinic.

We offer group activities.

For example: meetings to talk.

We are also there for you after your stay in a clinic.

We accompany you to specialist doctors or to consultations in a clinic.
