The children's book week focuses on school readings.

Readings with authors in Salzgitter schools are in great demand and very popular. They enable schoolchildren to meet authors in a lively way, encourage them to engage with contemporary literature and can thus make a significant contribution to developing young people's motivation to read and write. Schools that are interested in a school reading are welcome to contact us.

The readings are usually supported by the Friedrich-Bödecker-Kreis e.V. (opens in a new tab), but pupils still have to pay a contribution of 3 to 5 euros.
