Once you’ve finished reading all your summer books, it’s time for this fall’s book trends. But what should you choose to read? The “Literature and Culinary Arts” event series offers plenty of answers in the form of book recommendations.

Meike Buthmann, Sylvia Fiedler, Barbara Henning, Maren Landwehr, and Dr. Henrik Stehlik have selected exceptional newly published books from the wealth of literary offerings and will present them on Tuesday, November 24, at the City Library in Lebenstedt and on Thursday, November 26, at the library in Salzgitter Bad. Both events begin at 6:30 p.m.

With their reviews designed to inspire readers, this book-loving team aims to introduce new releases on the market, highlight promising books, and thus ensure plenty of reading material during the darker months of the year. The selection of books ranges from family novels and love stories to nonfiction, thrillers, and lighthearted reads.

As always, there will also be a list of the titles discussed and other notable works. All books featured are available in the collection of the Salzgitter City Library and can be borrowed or reserved.

The event is supported by the Salzgitter Library Association (Bibliotheksgesellschaft Salzgitter e. V.), which traditionally provides a small buffet and beverages.
