Open Spots for Continuing Education

The municipal early childhood education advisory services within the City of Salzgitter’s Department of Children, Youth, and Family, in collaboration with the municipal Volkshochschule, are offering the training program “Integrative Education and Learning in Child Care Centers in the Context of Inclusive Educational Processes,” for which there are still openings.

This continuing education program is designed for state-certified early childhood educators, early childhood educators, and social educators who wish to expand their skills in the area of inclusive education and support. It provides the professional foundations and practical skills required for working in inclusive groups.

The continuing education program begins on Friday, November 13, takes place once a month (at the Volkshochschule in Lebenstedt or Salzgitter-Bad, or online), and concludes with a final exam in May 2028.

Upon successful completion of the training program, participants (in accordance with § 17(2) DVO-NKiTaG) will earn the qualification to work as special education specialists in inclusive groups. This part-time continuing education program thus opens up new career opportunities and helps institutions meet the legal requirements for inclusive educational practices.
