What is there to experience at the reading club?
In their free time, children can meet up at the reading club, read together and engage with different reading media in a playful way. Without pressure to perform and with qualified supervision, the aim is to awaken the joy of reading and strengthen reading skills.
There are books from the following categories: Fun, adventure, non-fiction, friends-family-school, comics and picture books, first readers, thrillers and fantasy.
Multilingual books invite parents to read together with their children. Girls and boys between the ages of six and twelve can borrow the books free of charge and take them home with them.
In addition to the world of books, there are other creative activities such as games, handicrafts and cooking. There are also audio books, Tiptoi, an iPad and children's films as further approaches to encountering stories. A picture book movie can be watched together with the projector. The children have already made their own movie. There are also various games.
A varied program awaits the girls and boys in the reading club. Just come along on your own or with a friend!
The reading club is always open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6 pm.
On Fridays there is a special offer by mothers for children with refugee experiences. For further information and registration, please contact us in advance.
