The four major concerts for senior citizens in the city of Salzgitter are organized by the Department of Culture. They traditionally take place in the auditoriums of the SZ-Bad grammar school and the Fredenberg grammar school.

A special service is the use of special buses in cooperation with KVG Braunschweig. If you purchase your admission ticket at least 15 days before the start of the event, you can book a ride on the special bus from a specific stop. There are a total of 73 bus stops to choose from throughout Salzgitter. Depending on the location of the KVG bus stop, you will be picked up almost on your doorstep and taken home again after the concert. The ticket price is 7.50 euros per person (including use of the special bus).
