I Love Flute

Under the title "Lighthouse", the music school offered several intensive workshops for one instrument or instrument family at a time. On Saturday, May 4, the second event focused on the flute.

I Love Flute - A flute experience in two parts

Part 2 - "Dare and join in"

Workshop on flute care

Making music together and "cleaning lesson" - tips and instructions on care for all amateur flutists

The participants worked on one or two previously prepared ensemble pieces. In addition, the structure of a transverse flute was discovered in detail. In the subsequent "cleaning lesson", there were tips and instructions on how to care for the instrument, before the work was presented with a clean flute.

All adult flute enthusiasts, interested beginners and advanced players who wanted to learn more about the flute and actively participate were invited.

In the fully booked practical workshop, the flute was intensively taken apart and put back together again and music was played together. The originally planned time was exceeded by more than 90 minutes due to the concentration and joy of working together, which was seen as a good sign by the participants...

Part 1 - "Listen and be amazed"

Introducing the flute and concert by the trio "Animato Flötett"

Grit Dietrich, flutist and lecturer at the music school, introduced the instrument. In the subsequent concert with the "Flötett Animato" from Hanover, both the small piccolo and the large bass transverse flute were used. The participants were thrilled by the musical journey through time on the flute through all eras and styles from the Magic Flute to Pink Panther.

At the concert in the Fürstensaal Schloss Salder, a very interested audience listened to the imaginative and lively performance by Grit Dietrich (right), who, together with the Animato Flötent (Justyna Siwy and Gerald Pursche), presented a silvery, fine-sounding and colorful program and gave the audience a successful Saturday morning with heart-warming humor and lively music.
