Salzgitter

Concerts 2026

During the 41st Jazz and Rock Workshop, public concerts will take place on two workshop days, to which workshop participants will be admitted free of charge. The final concert will be organized by the workshop bands themselves. Both concerts will take place in the Kulturscheune.

Saturday, July 04, 8 p.m. - Lecturers' concert

The lecturers' concert has now become a professionally organized event on a grand scale. As with the previous 40 workshops, in which well-known artists such as Inga Rumpf, Sigi Busch, Greetje Kauffeld, Veronika Fischer, Michael Sagmeister, Andreas Becker, Alex Conti, Herb Geller, Alexander von Schlippenbach, Rick Keller and Norbert Gottschalk took part, well-known musicians will be taking part again in 2026.

The ticket price for the traditional faculty concert on 04.07.2026 / 8 p.m. is €10.00 (incl. VAT, plus fee) in advance and €12.00 (incl. VAT) at the box office. Workshop participants have free admission.

Sunday, July 05, 6 p.m. - Final concert for participants

The final concert is the last item on the program of the Jazz and Rock Workshop Salzgitter. At the final concerts in recent years, various styles could be heard and seen in immediate succession: From modern jazz, soul, metal, soft rock, experimental music to film music, (almost) everything was represented. Each band had its own instructor as band leader, who made a more or less conspicuous appearance and trembled towards the performance with at least as much stage fright as the participants, some of whom had never set foot on a stage before. Once again this year, there is every indication that the final concert will be a great event with great entertainment value and amazing performances.

Admission to the final concert is free of charge.
