Offers for kindergartens and schools
Young visitors in particular - kindergarten children, schoolchildren and pre-school children - are addressed. Age-appropriate themes combined with various hands-on activities attract them to the museum: not just once, but more and more often. The baking day and the Kunstmäuse studio are fixed dates in the calendars of many kindergartens.
For school classes, the focus is on topics from all permanent exhibitions in relation to the current curriculum. All schools can book various hands-on tours, from dinosaurs to steam engines, from the Stone Age to the 20th century, sawing, cutting, forging - the range of activities on offer is rich and varied.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating: extracurricular learning, teaching old methods and techniques and testing them in the museum are combined under supervision. Project weeks, working groups, workshops, vacation activities and children's birthday parties are organized and carried out by the museum education department at the castle.
And last but not least: Trained staff are available for group tours of the museum to accompany visitors - depending on their wishes - on an entertaining tour or an expert guided tour. Guided tours for the visually impaired and blind are also available.
