Mental Health Day - Salzgitter joins in!

The Salzgitter Social Psychiatric Association is taking part in this year's nationwide Mental Health Week with an event on Thursday, October 9. The program includes information, lectures and discussion rounds.

Just drop by: The Mental Health Day offers a wide range of information.

Mental health is important for everyone: it influences how we work, sleep, feel and interact with other people. Everyone can do something for themselves and others.

On Thursday, October 9, the Social Psychiatric Association of the City of Salzgitter will be offering a wide range of information on mental health from 2 to 6 pm:

Information stands from various mental health facilities - get to know the individual services on offer
From 4 p.m.: Moderated discussion with experts - ask your questions (or simply listen)
Exchange of experiences and ideas on the topic of mental health
Coffee, cake and hands-on activities for young and old

The day is intended to help:

  • inform people and get them talking
  • provide support at an early stage
  • prevent crises
  • strengthen their own mental health
  • better understand mental illness
  • reduce prejudice and stigmatization

In short, anyone who would like to find out more about mental health and how to deal with it is invited to attend. Anyone who has questions, simply wants to find out more or would like to get to know what the participants have to offer is welcome to drop by with no obligation. Both young people and adults are invited.

Admission is free of charge. Registration is not necessary.
