Goal
The aim: to make it easier for married couples or cohabiting couples with children to build on municipal land for their own use and to attract new residents. The subsidy for urban plots is divided into a basic subsidy and a children's component.
Basic funding
A lump sum is granted as a basic subsidy for all those wishing to build on a municipal plot of land. It amounts to 2,000 euros regardless of the size of the plot. This also takes into account young married couples or non-married couples who do not yet have a child at the time of purchasing the plot. The basic subsidy is offset against the purchase price of the plot.
Child component
For each child up to the age of 18 belonging to the household, 4 euros per square meter are deducted from the purchase price of the property.
All in all, the amount of the individual grant is limited to 10,000 euros. The subsidy is granted up to a maximum family income limit of 80,000 euros per year. The family income is defined by the sum of the positive income according to the last tax assessment. Corresponding evidence must be submitted during the contract negotiations so that the calculated property purchase price can be included in the purchase contract.
Example:
A family with 2 children would like to purchase a 700 m² plot of land. The amount of the subsidy is calculated as follows:
Basic subsidy:
2,000 euros
Children's component: 2 x 4 x 700
(number of children x €4 x number of square meters)
5,600 euros
Total subsidy amount:
7,600 euros
As the family's positive annual income is less than 80,000 euros, they can look forward to a reduction of 7,600 euros in the purchase price of the property.
We will be happy to provide you with detailed information on the subsidy options for purchasing a plot of land.
