Bulky waste includes items that are part of the household contents and cannot be disposed of in the residual waste containers due to their size. This includes e.g:

• Couch, sofa, recliner, armchair, chair, stool,
• table, desk, cupboard, chest of drawers, chest of drawers (empty), kitchen cupboard, shelves
• Bed frame, spring frame, mattress
• Carpet, floor covering (not glued)
• Crate, suitcase (empty), baby carriage, sports trolley
• Bicycle

Old electrical appliances are collected separately and sent for recycling. Please provide old electrical appliances separately as part of the bulky waste collection. This includes e.g:

• Electric stove, washing machine, dishwasher
• Refrigerators and freezers
• Televisions, radios, hi-fi equipment, computers
• Electrical kitchen and household appliances
• electrical toys or sports equipment
• Electrical tools

What does not belong in bulky waste?

• Bags, boxes and crates filled with household waste or recyclables
• Items/waste resulting from construction, conversion or repair work, e.g. windows, doors, wall coverings (wallpaper, wood), laminate, parquet, ceiling paneling, insulating panels, etc.
• sanitary ceramics
• Timber, fence slats,
• Hazardous waste such as liquid paints, car batteries, waste oil, etc. (hazardous waste collection at the Diebesstieg landfill)
• Vehicles such as scooters, mopeds, cars or parts thereof

Bulky waste can be disposed of at short notice by providing a container (5 m³) from the SRB. The disposal fee is charged in accordance with the waste disposal fee statutes. Old electrical appliances may not be disposed of in the container.
