What is bulky waste?
Bulky waste is larger items from your household.
These things don't belong in the garbage can.
They are too big for that.
Bulky waste includes, for example
- Sofas or armchairs
- Chairs or tables
- Writing tables, cupboards or chest of drawers,
- kitchen cupboards or shelves
- Beds or couches
- carpets
- Boxes or suitcases
- Prams or bicycles
Dispose of old electrical appliances separately.
Old electrical appliances are for example
- stoves
- Washing machines or dishwashers
- Refrigerators or freezers
- Televisions, radios, stereo systems, computers
- electrical kitchen appliances
- electrical household appliances
- electrical toys or sports equipment
- electrical tools
Separate old electrical appliances from the rest of your bulky waste.
What doesn't belong in bulky waste?
- no bags or boxes with household waste
- no bags or boxes with recyclable materials
- no items from construction: for example windows, laminate, doors, wallpaper, wooden wall paneling
- no old washbasins, bathtubs or toilet bowls
- no construction timber, no fence slats
- no vehicles such as scooters, mopeds, cars or parts thereof
- no hazardous waste such as liquid paints, car batteries, waste oil Take hazardous waste to the Diebesstieg landfill site
Dispose of bulky waste
You can take your bulky waste
- bring it directly to the Diebesstieg waste disposal facility
- or have it collected by the bulky waste collection service.
This only applies to private households.
This does not apply to companies.
Diebesstieg waste disposal plant
You can take your bulky waste to the Diebesstieg waste disposal facility yourself.
Here you have to pay for the disposal of your bulky waste.
Old electrical appliances from private households are free of charge.
Collection by the SRB
The SRB collects and disposes of your bulky waste.
The SRB collects old electrical appliances and disposes of them.
This only applies to private households, not companies.
You must pay a fee for bulky waste and old electrical appliances.
Please submit a written application.
Bulky waste order cards are available for this purpose.
You can obtain the order cards
- at the Bürger-Center of the town hall in Lebenstedt
- at the small town hall in Bad
- at the SRB in Korbmacher-Weg 5
- at the waste carts
- in the waste calendar
We will announce in writing in advance when we will come.
You must pay for the collection.
This is stated in the waste disposal fee statutes.
Please note!
You register bulky waste for collection.
Then you are responsible for it.
Only the registered bulky waste may be placed at the roadside.
Other people put their bulky waste there?
Then you must also pay for the collection of this bulky waste.
And you must clean up the sidewalk afterwards.

Bulky waste container
A skip is a large container.
You can book the bulky waste container
only via the online form.
This is also possible at short notice.
The SRB will bring the container to you.
The container can hold 5 cubic meters of bulky waste:
5 meters high, 5 meters wide, 5 meters long.
You may not dispose of old electrical appliances in it.
You must pay for the bulky waste in the container.
The fees are set out in the waste disposal fee statutes.
