Following approval by the city council, 33 building plots are to be sold there for the construction of detached and semi-detached houses. The plots are between 550 square meters and 952 square meters in size. The plot price is 135.00 euros/square meter.

The land purchase price includes the development fees, the wastewater contribution, the cost reimbursement contributions for compensatory measures, the costs for the construction of the noise barrier and the surveying costs.

The costs of the property purchase agreements and their implementation, the property connection costs for rainwater and wastewater drainage, any subsequent marking costs and the land transfer tax are borne by the buyers.

The sewer and rainwater retention basin have been under construction in the development area since mid-June. Once this work has been completed, the road construction will follow, including the construction of the noise barrier. The construction work is expected to be completed in late fall 2018. Marketing of the building plots should then begin in the same period.

There are currently 97 applicants registered in the applicant list for Salzgitter - Bad. Insofar as not all interested parties acquire a building plot, the building plots can then also be advertised by developers.

Furthermore, buyers who are eligible for the "Family-friendly Baulandförderung" can receive a subsidy of up to €10,000.00.
