Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel and Supervisory Board Chairman Rolf Stratmann are in agreement with Salzgitter AG Executive Board member Michael Kieckbusch: "A successful Ratskeller team will be continued under a new operating company."

"This will be done via a subsidiary of WBV Wohnbau Betreuungs & Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH Salzgitter (WBV), which is the owner of the Ratskeller and has yet to be founded," explains Stratmann.

Lord Mayor Klingebiel explains: "The employees will be transferred from "RHO Köln" to a new "WBV" company with all rights and obligations as of October 1, 2018 by way of a transfer of operations. This was announced on Monday, 17.9.2018, at a staff meeting in the Ratskeller in Salzgitter-Bad. I am delighted that the current service team around and with Robert Kuttner now as the responsible operations manager of the Ratskeller will continue the success story of the traditional establishment in its proven form in the future."

Board member Michael Kieckbusch adds: "We are convinced that we have sent a clear signal for the sustainable strengthening of the Ratskeller with the new Ratskeller operating company at Wohnbau. The property management and operation of the Ratskeller are now in one hand."

Klingebiel, Kieckbusch and Stratmann make it clear: "The social center of Salzgitter-Bad is particularly close to our hearts. The managing directors of Wohnbau Salzgitter, Jens Bischoff and Christian Heinrich, have prepared the transfer of operations very well. We would like to thank the previous tenant, "RHO" from Cologne with Managing Director Marcus Becks, for their commitment and the partnership-based cooperation over the past almost 10 years."
