The pool will be closed until May 4, but on Saturday, May 5, the opening of the new building will be celebrated with an open day from 11 am to 4 pm.

The first bathing day is on Sunday, May 6, from 10 am to 4 pm.

The modernization and expansion of the Stadtbad began in May 2016 and will be completed in May 2019.

The overall concept is divided into two construction phases:

The first construction phase consists of the new building (entrance and bathing hall with multi-purpose pool and children's pool) and the conversion section (partial conversion of changing rooms, conversion of course pool).

In the second construction phase, the remaining changing room wing will be rebuilt and the large bathing hall with the swimmers' pool will be renovated.
