What could the cultural profile of the city of Salzgitter look like in the future? Where should our culture develop? The city of Salzgitter would like to know this from the people of Salzgitter and has initiated various participation campaigns to find out: At four cultural conferences, the employees of the cultural department collected the ideas of the citizens. In Lebenstedt, Salzgitter-Bad, Thiede and Gebhardshagen, the participants also discussed the offers and cultural potential in the city. These suggestions will be evaluated and incorporated into a Kulturentwicklungsplan, which will define the cultural goals and perspectives as well as the framework for action for the next ten years.

The participation process also includes an online survey where citizens can express their opinions until the end of June. Ideas and wishes can be communicated; evaluations and assessments are also welcome. The online questionnaire is available in six languages. Which cultural offerings do you use? Which events do you like? What is missing in Salzgitter? The evaluation will take place afterwards. "We want to work together with the people of Salzgitter to promote culture in the city and are happy to welcome everyone who helps shape this process," says Eric Neiseke, Head of Cultural Affairs.

The prize draw will take place on July 16, 2018 and the winners will be notified in writing by email; legal recourse is excluded. All residents of Salzgitter are eligible to take part.
