Youth parliament presents daycare center Arche-Noah with gifts

In 2019, the youth parliament of the city of Salzgitter once again cooperated with an institution to bring joy to children from Salzgitter during the Christmas season. This year, the youth parliament and the "Arche-Noah-Kindergarten" of the Caritas Association Salzgitter have joined forces.

The members of parliament handed over 10,000 balls to the children and staff for the kindergarten's therapy ball pool.

Afterwards, the young people from the youth parliament and members of the association worked with the children to create sweet houses out of cookies, which they decorated with icing and colorful decorations.

The Arche Noah kindergarten looks after both children with and without increased individual support needs. Among other things, there is a special education area in which a wide variety of children are accompanied in small groups.

The Christmas project series was launched in 2018 by Andru König, spokesperson for the youth parliament, with the aim of "bringing joy to the citizens of Salzgitter, especially children and young people", says König.
