Part of Gießereistraße closed

Gießereistraße in Heerte must be fully closed from the junction with Zingelstraße to the Fuhsebrücke bridge for approx. five months due to road and sewer work by ASG and the city of Salzgitter.

The detour are signposted over a wide area, here before the Diebesstieg junction, coming from the direction of Salder.

A corresponding detour is signposted.

The expansion will take place on an approx. 150 meter long road section from the Fuhsebrücke bridge (entrance to the town) northwards to Zingelstraße.

Here, the road (approx. 1,400 square meters) and sidewalk (approx. 900 square meters) will be completely renewed. Due to the poor subsoil, excavation work of approx. one meter will be necessary.

ASG is also carrying out sewer construction work in this area from Bäckerklint to Bahnhofsallee over a length of approx. 40 meters to a depth of approx. three meters.
