Map section of the area affected by the closures

In Salzgitter-Bad, as previously reported, the surfaces of the streets "An der Erzbahn" and "Breslauer Straße" as well as the "Bahnhofsplatz" will be renovated from Monday, July 15 until probably Friday, August 9. Some of the milling work has now been completed.

The area between "Vogelwinkel" / "Braunschweiger Straße" and the access road at E-Center "An der Erzbahn" is currently fully closed. Access to the Vogelwinkel industrial estate is only possible via Breslauer Straße up to and including Monday, July 29, at 4.30 am.

In addition, Breslauer Straße and the station square (ZOB) will be fully closed from 10.30 p.m. on Saturday evening until 4.30 a.m. on Monday morning. Repair, milling and asphalt work will be carried out during this period. The roads will be closed to traffic until Monday morning.

Users of the "An der Erzbahn" parking lot will not be able to drive to or leave the parking lot with their vehicle during the full closure. Users of the "Bahnhofsplatz" parking lot and local residents will also not be able to drive to and from the parking lot during the closure.

Due to the full closure, the bus routes will use the replacement stops "Schützenplatz".

The roads will be reopened to traffic from Monday, July 30, but initially without road markings. This work will only take place when the new road surface is laid on the following Sunday, August 4th, for which there will be another full road closure in the area of the ZOB to the "Breslauer Straße" / "An der Erzbahn" junction.

The current signage must be observed. Increased attention is requested.

The administration asks those affected for their understanding for the restrictions and noise nuisance caused by the construction work.
