Together with the city of Salzgitter, SV Glück Auf 1901 Gebhardshagen e.V. has secured the future of the Waldschwimmbad for another five years. The Waldschwimmbad, which is run and managed on a voluntary basis by the sports club SV Glück Auf 1901 Gebhardshagen e.V., is looking forward to a bright future.

In addition to an increase in the annual subsidy for the forest swimming pool by the city of Salzgitter, an investment program of 240,000 euros has also been approved. This investment program will be implemented by SV Glück Auf 1901 Gebhardshagen e.V., which ensures that the full amount will benefit the forest swimming pool.

Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel praised: "I would like to thank the entire board of the association for taking on the great responsibility for the continued operation of the municipal outdoor pool in Gebhardshagen, which is very well received by the citizens. With a great deal of passion, commitment and time commitment from its members, Glück Auf Gebhardshagen continues to ensure public swimming in Gebhardshagen in the summer and enrich the leisure facilities in our town.
