Salzgitter

Invoices can be sent digitally to the city administration

The city of Salzgitter will be taking another important step on the road to digital administration by accepting "eInvoices" from Saturday, April 18.

In doing so, the city administration is not only fulfilling its legal obligation as a public contracting authority, but is also promoting this type of invoicing as an important contribution to conserving resources and improving the carbon footprint in the fight for environmental and climate protection.

Anyone who is a contractor of the City of Salzgitter can send their "e-invoice" in accordance with the binding X-invoice standard by e-mail to rechnungenstadt.salzgitterde in future.

This is already possible for low invoice amounts.

As of April 18, the city's own operations and companies will also accept "eInvoices" at their own e-mail addresses:

E-mail address

Own enterprise 62,

Property Development (G.E.)

rechnungen.szgestadt.salzgitterde

Own company 70,

Municipal management company (SRB)

rechnungen.srbstadt.salzgitterde

Own enterprise 85,

Facility Management, Purchasing and Logistics (G.E.L.)

rechnungen.sz-g.e.lstadt.salzgitterde

The legal basis for the acceptance of "e-invoices" is the "Lower Saxony Act on Digital Administration and Information Security" (NDiG) and the "Lower Saxony Ordinance on Electronic Invoicing" (NERechVO).
