Salzgitter

Heike Hidalgo presents her works

From Tuesday, March 17 to Sunday, May 3, the Wolfenbüttel painter Heike Hidalgo will be presenting her works in small formats from almost 30 years at the Tillyhaus in Salzgitter-Bad under the title "Small but mine".

The pictures reflect the most important themes that the painter has dealt with over the years: still life-like paintings in oil colors, works on texts by Spanish poets and on "Terra mobilis". The latter is a theme that has recurred in Heike Hidalgo's work for more than ten years. However, new works in the form of drawings and color sketches of travel impressions, especially of encounters in Morocco, are also on display.

Heike Hidalgo lives and works in Wolfenbüttel and studied at the HBK from 1987 to 1992 and from 1993 at the BBK Braunschweig. She is a founding member of the group "permanent 11".

At the exhibition opening on Tuesday, March 17, at 7 p.m. in the Small Gallery in the Tillyhaus, Heike Hidalgo and Michael Ewen from Braunschweig will introduce the exhibition.
