Now that the line work for the 380 kV line route from Wahle to Mecklar in the area of the K4 district road has been completed, the city of Salzgitter is carrying out surface renovation work on the K4 between Salzgitter-Lesse and the district border before Berel. The work will begin on Wednesday, June 24 and is expected to last until Friday, July 10. The district road K4 will have to be fully closed between SZ-Lesse and Berel.

A detour will be signposted from Lesse via the L619, K3, K57 and L474 to Berel and from Berel in the direction of Lesse.

The KVG lines 608 and 609 will therefore not be able to serve the "SZ-Lesse, Bauplatz" stop. The alternative stop "Nienstedter Straße" in the area of the Volksbank will be served.
