Please note: Due to the corona-related situation, the Board of Trustees has extended the application deadline to 31.08.20.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel, explained: "Even though the Board of Trustees has already received around 80 applications with a requested funding volume of almost 4 million euros, we want to enable more non-profit associations and institutions to apply by extending the deadline. All public life was shut down in mid-March, which also posed immense challenges for the associations, and in some cases the March 31 deadline may have slipped out of sight. Reason enough to extend the application deadline to May 31." The Board of Trustees is expected to meet in June to decide on the funding applications and give the associations planning security
