The changed access options for residents in these areas will be signposted accordingly. According to the current construction schedule, the renovation work will be completed by the end of July 2020.

Reason for the renovation of the water transport pipeline

From March 11, the renovation of the section of the water transport pipeline from the street "Am Berg" parallel to the street "Am Heller" through the park to the street "Vor der Burg" and further in the direction of the town exit Nord-Süd-Straße will begin.

The renovation work on the drinking water transport pipes in Gebhardshagen has been in full swing since 2018. In the fall/winter of 2019, work was carried out on the construction section from the street "Am Berg" to the sports field of SV Glück auf Gebhardshagen.

Renovation work is being carried out in the "Am Berg" to "Vor der Burg" section using so-called inliners, i.e. a new PE pipe is being pulled into the existing 500 mm pipe. From there to the end of the town on Nord-Süd-Straße, the transport pipeline will be laid using the horizontal directional drilling method. This means that only a few excavation pits are required along the route.
