The authorities also announced that the roadway, including the cycle path, will be renewed during the fall vacations. A detour route will be set up from Barum via the B 248, continuing via Heinrich-Büssing-Straße, Industriestraße Mitte and via Heerter Straße to Heerte, and vice versa in the opposite direction.

The Westerkamp / Werkstraße access road can be reached from Heerte in the first week of the vacation and from Barum in the second week.

Following the full closure, obstructions are to be expected due to remaining work.

The state authority asks the affected road users and residents for their understanding. Weather-related delays are generally possible.
