A 39: Bridge repair at the Salzgitter-Lebenstedt-Nord junction

From Monday, June 28, 7 a.m. to Friday, July 2, 6 p.m., repair work will be carried out on the transition structures of the bridge at the Salzgitter-Lebenstedt-Nord junction in the course of Industriestraße Nord (K 39).

According to Autobahn GmbH, the work will continue until Friday, July 9, due to the weather conditions.

During this time, the bridge along the K 39 will be fully closed to traffic.

The closure at the Salzgitter-Lebenstedt-Nord junction on the A 39 affects

  • the exit from the A 39 in the direction of Braunschweig to Salzgitter,
  • the slip road onto the A 39 from Engelstedt in the direction of Braunschweig,
  • and the slip road to the A 39 from Bleckenstedt in the direction of Kassel.

Road users are asked to divert to the Salzgitter-Watenstedt or Salzgitter-Thiede junctions.

Traffic on the K 39 in the direction of Beddingen and Bleckenstedt will be diverted via the U1. In the direction of Engelstedt, Broistedt and Lebenstedt, please follow the U2. The detour are signposted.
