Nine photographers and three female photographers from ATELIER 70 present a selection of their photos. The content: "The diversity of the city of salt in lesser-known and unusual motifs. With fresh perspectives and points of view, photographers approach unusual and sometimes unknown views of our hometown."
The ATELIER 70 photo workshop at the Volkshochschule Salzgitter is a creative group of committed photographers of different ages who share a love of photography. Started in 1970 as a photography course at the Volkshochschule, a photo working group was formed that joined the German Association for Photography in 1975. The members work individually, but exchange ideas, learn from each other and exhibit together.
In the community, photographic content and techniques are intensively developed, taught and put into practice. Learning to "see" photography and image composition are fundamental tasks. In image discussions, all participants critically examine, discuss and evaluate their own photographs. In doing so, the members deal with the contents and questions of color and image design theory as well as the implementation of creative ideas.
The works can be seen until November 12 during the opening hours of the Volkshochschule in Lebenstedt (Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm; Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 pm and Thursdays from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm).
For adults, the 3-G rule applies (anyone wishing to visit the exhibition requires proof of vaccination or recovery or a negative test). This rule does not apply to children under the age of 6.
