Salzgitter

Planting of the traffic circle

The municipal management company (SRB) has begun planting the traffic circle at the Gittertor in Salzgitter-Bad.

On Friday, May 7, the concrete base was planted with lamp cleaner grass, which will cover the base over the course of the summer. On Monday, May 10, the SRB gardening trainees continued the planting work in three newly created areas. The planting areas have been created with native gravel, as experience has shown that this reduces the intensity of maintenance (lower water consumption, reduced weed control).

Yellow coneflower and red stonecrop are currently being planted. The missing lavender will be delivered by Friday and will then be planted on Monday, May 17. Over the course of the summer, the crystal will then stand in a blooming landscape.
