In early support, the little ones receive a broad musical basis from which they can develop individually. The music school offers various courses for this purpose:
New to the offer is the "Sing, Baby!" course for expectant mothers (three dates by individual arrangement) and the "Baby Music Course" for toddlers with their parents (currently weekly on Tuesdays at 3 p.m. in Lebenstedt or new from September on Wednesday mornings).
There are still places available for the courses "Rhythmics for toddlers" (weekly for one year for children aged two to three years and their parents), "Early musical education" (weekly for two years for children aged four to six years) and "Basic musical education" (for six months for children aged seven to ten years). Registrations are still welcome.
The "Instrument Carousel" for children of primary school age between seven and ten is also starting a new course. This popular orientation course offers children the opportunity to get to know different instruments intensively in small groups. The instruments can be taken home with them. There will be an introductory event at the beginning of September.
The children in the basic musical level learn in a special way: Discovering sounds together in small groups, experiencing songs and dance, listening to music from different cultures, getting to know musical instruments.
The current distancing and hygiene rules apply to the face-to-face courses. Further information can be found on the website of the Salzgitter City Music School (www.salzgitter.de).
Masks and tests are not compulsory up to the age of six.
