This SVA, which is funded by the state of Lower Saxony, is a comprehensive preparation recognized by the Association of Music Schools in order to successfully pass the entrance examinations at music colleges and other music institutions.

In particular, the subjects "ear training" and "music theory" as well as the possibility of ensemble work are an important supplement to the main instrumental/vocal subject.

Pupils between the ages of 15 and 20 who are looking for professional preparation for music studies are invited to take part. Those who are still undecided and are only considering a professional musical career are also invited to participate.

The instrumental/vocal subjects do not necessarily have to be taken at the music school, so that so-called external applicants are also addressed and invited.

The entrance and intermediate examinations for the SVA will take place on Tuesday, October 11, from 6 p.m. at the music school in Lebenstedt, Wehrstraße 27. The registration deadline is September 30. Two stylistically different works with a total playing time of about ten minutes are to be prepared. Registration forms are available at the music school or online.
