Last chance to visit: Huaxtec objects at Salder Castle Museum

Huaxtec objects from the city of Tampico in Mexico are on display at the Salder Castle Municipal Museum until Friday, September 30.

The fascinating small sculptures and other objects came to Salzgitter around 1900. The city wants them to be returned to their country of origin as soon as possible.

The new "Current Showcase" will then soon be filled with another small but exciting topic from the museum's holdings. Admission to this small special presentation is free - as is generally the case in the museum.

The Salder Castle Municipal Museum is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm and on Sundays and public holidays from 11 am to 5 pm.

Now they are also accessible to the interested public: the small Huaxtec sculptures and objects from the city of Tampico in Mexico recently found in the museum depot of the Salder Castle Municipal Museum.
