Admission was free, but donations were requested for the "Wir helfen Kindern e.V." association (for the children, youth and bereavement work of the Salzgitter hospice initiative).
Around 70 guests from Salzgitter and the surrounding area and the "Wir helfen Kindern e.V." association donated a total of 500 euros, which have now been presented to the hospice initiative, which is financed exclusively by donations, which is why every euro is welcome.
Head of Cultural Affairs Jan Erik Bohling emphasized that the music school has set an important example and plays a mediating role in the city. "This is therefore also a significant contribution to cultural life in Salzgitter," said the Head of Cultural Affairs. The proceeds from this concert are a vivid example of the citizens' support for the hospice initiative.
This was also emphasized by Thomas Wolff, deputy chairman of the association "Wir helfen Kindern e.V." The voluntary work in the hospice initiative is important and deserves support. That is why the "Wir helfen Kindern e.V." association was happy to provide additional support for the music school's project.
Heribert Pietschmann, deputy chairman of the hospice association, thanked everyone involved on behalf of the team and the children, whose Christmas time would be brightened up with this support.
