Music School Days 2022

Until Thursday, June 30 (daily from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m.), the music school's Music School Days offer young and young at heart many opportunities to try out instruments, listen to concerts and find out about what the music school has to offer.

Simply get to know an instrument: this is often possible during the music school days.

All offers are free of charge. Admission to the concerts is free.

The overview:

Festive opening:

On Sunday, June 26, at 4 p.m., the Music School Days opened with a festive concert in the Fürstensaal of Salder Castle.

Children's and family concerts:

The children's and family concerts take place from Monday to Thursday from 4 to 4.35 p.m. in the hall of the Alte Feuerwache on Wehrstraße in Lebenstedt. The pupils of the music school will tell their young listeners musical fairy tales with their instruments. Titles such as "Gute Nacht Püppi" and "Was klingt da Schönes? " invite you to find out what's behind them.

At the family concert on Thursday, June 30, the focus will be on making music and singing together.

Instrument petting meadow for the young and young at heart and cafeteria:

During the music school days, the so-called "instrument petting meadow" will take place in the Alte Feuerwache. Children from the age of 5 and their parents can try out instruments for themselves from Monday to Thursday from 4.45 pm to 5.30 pm. Younger children can take part in the early musical education program.

Adults are also welcome to try out an instrument they have always wanted to play!

The cafeteria is also open during this time. Here you have the opportunity to chat over coffee and cake. An overview of the various instruments can be found on the music school's website (www.salzgitter.de).

A daily updated schedule will be provided by the administration.

Concerts:

In the 6 p.m. concerts, colorful solo and chamber music contributions are presented.

You can hear varied musical contributions with "small and large ensembles" (Monday, Kulturscheune), "Bunte Tüte" (Tuesday, Alte Feuerwache), "Aus aller Welt" (Wednesday, Alte Feuerwache).

On Tuesday, June 28, at 7:30 p.m., there will be a culinary-musical music get-together for adults in a relaxed atmosphere with a glass of wine. The music school days end with the traditional "Vocal Night" on Thursday, June 30, 7:30 pm in the Kulturscheune.

We particularly recommend the information event "Playing the table harp" for senior citizens on Thursday, June 30, from 10 am to 1 pm in the hall of the fire station.
