The signposted detour is from Salzgitter-Ringelheim via Wallmodener Straße and Teichstraße (K 34 and K 67) to Alt Wallmoden and then via Dorfstraße (K 67 and 45) and Landesstraße 496 to Sehlde. The detour from Sehlde to Salzgitter-Ringelheim is in the opposite direction.
