This course is aimed at all beginners in photography who want to get to know their camera better and learn how to take photos. To take part in the course, you must have your own digital camera, preferably an SLR or system camera.

In this course, participants will learn about

• the setting options on the camera
• the effect of the settings on the image result
• Understanding and using the context of the settings
• free, practical application of the various setting options / parameters.

The operating instructions for the camera equipment should be brought along.

Weather permitting, the group will try out what they have learned outdoors.

The course "Basics of camera technology and digital photography" will take place on Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Volkshochschule in Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 26a). The course costs 25 euros.
