Salzgitter

Premiere for digital scavenger hunt

The Volkshochschule of the city of Salzgitter invites young people between the ages of 10 and 14 to a free digital scavenger hunt through the old village in Lebenstedt on Friday, July 15. There are still places available for this new vacation offer.

The Volkshochschule invites young people on a special journey through time.

What is there to discover in the old village in Lebenstedt? The girls and boys will playfully find these and other answers. The group goes on a journey through time to discover the unknown and solve puzzles...

How does it work? With a smartphone app called "Actionbound". That's why the young people need to bring a smartphone or tablet with a GPS function.

What happens during the scavenger hunt? The participants digitally explore various stations such as the church, the old cemetery or the old fire station. At the individual stops, the children have to answer questions and can win points. They are accompanied by two instructors who also help out at times.

Is knowledge required? No. There is a short introduction to the topic before the rally.

How much does the digital scavenger hunt cost? Participation is free of charge. All you need to bring is an interest in time travel and curiosity about the adventures that await you in the old village. Young people should bring weather-appropriate clothing/shoes, a snack and a drink.

How does the scavenger hunt end? At the end, there will be a meeting at the Volkshochschule Lebenstedt where the group can exchange ideas. This is followed by a small award ceremony.

How and where can the course be booked? The scavenger hunt takes place on Friday, July 15, from 11 am to 2:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact the Volkshochschule (0 53 41 / 839-36 04).
