Footpaths and parking lanes will be maintained and will not be affected.
The roadworks will be carried out with full road closures. Detour will be made via surrounding roads. In the period from August 5 to August 18, vehicles cannot be parked in the streets mentioned. The civil engineering department of the city of Salzgitter requests that vehicles be parked outside these areas.
The work is planned as follows:
On Friday, August 5, the old road surface of the Ahrbeekweg from Suddelbleek to Olefeld will be milled off. The asphalt surface on Suddelbleek will also be milled off.
On Monday, August 8, the old road surface of Ahrbeekweg will be milled off from Reichenberger Straße to behind Suddelbleek Straße. The asphalt surface of the Olefeld road will also be milled off.
On Tuesday, August 9, the new road surface will be laid along the entire Ahrbeekweg.
On Wednesday, August 10, the new road surface will be laid in Olefeld and Suddelbleek streets.
From Monday, August 15 to Thursday, August 18, the finishing work on the manholes and roadsides will take place.
