"Chansons and Cabaret" - this traditional joint event of the Salzgitter Literary Society and the City of Salzgitter's Literature Office will take place on Sunday, January 29, at 3 p.m., this time under the motto "ABC and Soap Bubble" in the Kniestedter Church in Salzgitter-Bad.

Majimbi Mergner (vocals), accompanied on the piano by Martin Krüger-Düsenberg, Aneka Viering (recitation) and Reinhard Försterling (recitation) will present aspects of childhood in chanson and cabaret texts from the 1920s.

Among others, texts by Klabund, Mascha Kaléko, Otto Reutter, Joachim Ringelnatz and Kurt Tucholsky can be heard.
