With this exhibition, the Flachstöckheim-based artist presents a colorful potpourri of her artworks.

The exhibited works show motifs in acrylic. The exhibition includes a wide variety of motifs ranging from flowers and landscapes to abstract color schemes. The paintings are complemented by writing. Self-invented poetry texts complement the painted works of art and aim to encourage visitors to reflect.

Marianne Custodis, born in Salzgitter in 1946, has been able to give free rein to her creativity since her early youth with various activities such as handicrafts, needlework and in her garden at home. She became interested in painting 23 years ago through her interest in writing with the "Monday Painters". The group still meets regularly to paint together. Custodis has already gained experience of showing her own creations in numerous group exhibitions. The current exhibition in the Salzgitter City Library in Salzgitter-Bad is already her second solo exhibition.

The artist invites all (art) enthusiasts to the opening of the exhibition "Painting & Poetry" on Friday, August 4, at 4 p.m. in the Salzgitter-Bad City Library.

The exhibition can be seen until October 28 in the city library at Marktplatz 11 during opening hours (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays from 10 am to 6 pm; Wednesdays from 9 am to 6 pm; Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm).
