Plans for urban land-use planning in Salzgitter-Watenstedt on display

The general objectives and purposes of the planning for the development plan Wat 9 for Salzgitter-Watenstedt "Gewerbegebiet südwestlich Ortslage" in conjunction with the 107th amendment to the land use plan are available for public inspection.

They can be viewed from 16.02.2023 to 02.03.2023 in the town hall of the city of Salzgitter, Joachim-Campe-Str. 6-8 in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt, 9th floor, corridor area between room 918 and room 919 on

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 am to 12 noon
  • Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The aim of the planning is to develop a commercial area to enable the construction of a multimodal "green energy filling station" and a guarded truck parking area including a motel and restaurants. The planned "green filling station" will not only offer the sale of fossil fuels, but will also focus on the supply of new energy sources such as electricity, hydrogen, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and synthetic fuels.

The development plan is being drawn up at the same time as the amendment to the land use plan, which is why this planning is a parallel process.
