The Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport in Wolfenbüttel points this out.
In the transition area between Konrad-Adenauer-Straße and Industriestraße Mitte (L 472), a total of 15 dead trees in the embankments need to be removed.
This will result in temporary closures of the on- and off-ramps at the Peiner Straße junction. This affects the Peiner Straße slip road onto Industriestraße-Mitte (L 472) in the direction of the A 39 and the Peiner Straße exit coming from the direction of the A 39.
The closures will only take place from 9 a.m., so that the morning rush hour traffic will remain largely unaffected.
The measure has been coordinated with both the lower nature conservation authority of the city of Salzgitter and the responsible traffic authority. The state authority asks all affected road users for their understanding.
