DB Netz AG has announced the following:

Deutsche Bahn (DB) is renewing the railroad overpasses in Salzgitter to ensure a high-performance infrastructure. The plan is to renew the two railroad bridges over the L498 in Salzgitter-Ringelheim. Work began in early January 2023 and is currently scheduled to be completed by 31.07.2024.

During the entire period, only one lane of the L498 will be open in the construction site area or it will be completely closed at times.

In between, traffic will always be guided past the construction site on one side only.

DB will be distributing flyers to local residents prior to the noisy measures. Interested parties can also contact the site management on site with any questions.
