Justus Buttke wins third prize at the state competition "Jugend musiziert"

17-year-old Justus Buttke wins third prize in the state competition "Jugend musiziert" and is once again very successful.

Justus Buttke was very successful at the state competition "Jugend musiziert". Congratulations to him!

Justus Buttke, a piano student at the Salzgitter music school, qualified for the state level at the regional "Jugend musiziert" competition at the beginning of the year. This was already an outstanding success for the 17-year-old.

The state competition took place from March 16 to 19 in Hanover at the University of Music, Drama and Media. Highly motivated, Justus and his piano teacher Donny Lobisch-Ehlert used the time until then to continue working intensively on the 20-minute program.

On March 18, the time had finally come for Justus Buttke: he played the 1st and 2nd movements from Beethoven's "Pathétique" sonata and Schubert's Impromptu Op. 90 No. 4 for a panel of five top-class judges. The jury was made up of university professors and musical personalities from Freiburg, Wiesbaden, Magdeburg, Bremen and Hanover.

There were 24 participants from Lower Saxony in his age group, which meant that the competition took place over two days. At the end of the competition, Justus Buttke was delighted to win third prize. The team at the music school would like to congratulate him and wish him all the best for his musical future.
