The Salzgitter City Library is delighted to now have 1,000 followers

To this end, they are presenting their new advertising design for the official Instagram channel under the motto: "We can do analog and digital - can you? Insights into our day-to-day work in words and pictures"

The Salzgitter City Library is pleased to always have its finger on the pulse thanks to its constant presence on social media and is promoting its Instagram channel with a new advertising design under the motto "We can do analog and digital - can you?". On the channel, the library wants to offer readers the opportunity to gain authentic and unadulterated insights into the everyday work of a municipal library.

The Salzgitter City Library's Instagram account, run by the staff themselves, is a project that shows citizens how lively and diverse everyday life in a modern library can be. From preparation before the official opening and exciting events, to borrowing physical media and digital library platforms.

"The city library is a place that combines both tradition and innovation. Our Instagram account is designed to show not only the beauty of our premises, but also our dedicated staff and the variety of services we offer. We are delighted that 1,000 followers have already subscribed to us in a short space of time," says Barbara Henning from the library management.

All citizens are welcome to follow the Instagram channel (@stbsalzgitter) to receive the latest updates on events, book tips, readings, workshops and much more. The social media platform allows visitors to interact directly with the library and become part of a community of book lovers and knowledge seekers.

"Our goal is to make the library accessible and engaging for everyone, regardless of age, their generation and the different interests associated with it," adds Mr. Patrick Matthews, an employee of Salzgitter City Library. "We want to show people that the library is still a relevant place in today's, mainly digital, times and where everyone is welcome. A place that combines education, culture and entertainment and where everyone is welcome, regardless of their background."
