Cobario will be performing on Friday, May 12, at 7.30 pm in the Kulturscheune in Lebenstedt. In their new program "Spanish Nights", Herwigos (violin), El Coba (guitar) and Giorgio Rovere (guitar) have brought together their most spirited songs: many beloved audience favourites of the Viennese string artists, in which fiery guitar chords are combined with sometimes sighing, sometimes sighing violin sounds.
El Coba and Giorgio's nimble fingers fly over the guitar neck, plucking the strings with virtuosity, striking fast chords, while Herwigos swings the violin bow sometimes dynamically, sometimes delicately. Cobario manages to appeal to all the senses with her songs. Music to feel, to smell, to taste!
For over ten years, the three playful Viennese musicians have been delighting their audiences with melancholy, dreamy tunes, energetic, driving sound installations and virtuoso solos. Each is a master on his instrument and in improvisation, while at the same time playing together as a perfectly harmonizing body of sound.
Singer-songwriter Svavar Knútur is back on the road in Europe on his "The Second Bell Tour". Following his success in 2019, he is once again traveling through his favourite cities. A few German cities are also on his map. Salzgitter is one of them: On Saturday, May 13, the Icelander can be heard at 8 pm in the Kniestedter Church in Salzgitter-Bad.
Svavar Knutur takes guests on a journey through the emotions of his Nordic spirit. His charismatic manner, cheerfulness and stories combine with the gentle style of his folk music to create inspiring concerts.
Svavar Knutur's songs always carry images and impressions inspired by his native Iceland. A constant change between long, dark winters and constant brightness in the summer months is also reflected in his music. This can be found on Knutur's debut album "Kvöldvaka" from 2009 as well as on the album "Ahoy! Side A", which makes you wonder when Side B will finally arrive. Alongside all the gloomy despair, the necessary portion of hope is never neglected and turns his concerts into special moments full of joie de vivre.
