Magical midsummer night for women

The Volkshochschule of the city of Salzgitter and the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) Salzgitter are offering a "Wilderness Overnight - a magical midsummer night for women" from Saturday, June 24 to Sunday, June 25 for the first time.

Midsummer's Eve, the longest night of the year, holds many secrets. In this course, the participants want to celebrate the summer solstice together in a protected circle of women. It starts in the late afternoon with a forest bath and the setting up of the sleeping camp. Whether you spend the night in the forest, in a tent or in a hammock is up to each woman.

Together, the participants learn the art of making a fire and cook a delicious meal over the campfire. Strengthening ancient rituals lead into the night and give the opportunity to take stock of the year so far, as well as to look positively and purposefully towards the second half of the year.

The next morning, after breakfast, the women dedicate themselves to the world of medicinal plants and make their own healing cream.
