"The Dr. Juch Cultural Foundation promotes art and culture in Salzgitter and in particular the activities of the Cultural Department," said Chairman Rainer Dworog during an on-site visit to the music school. The financial support is intended to sustainably strengthen the city's cultural offerings and create added value. Jan Erik Bohling, Head of Cultural Affairs, expressed his thanks on behalf of the city of Salzgitter. "The new grand piano inspires the team at the music school and enriches the musical education on offer at the music school," said the head of department.
This is because the pupils can now play both an upright and a grand piano and literally grasp the tonal diversity of the different keyboard instruments.
In addition to the broad-based educational support on the piano, the opportunity to play on a grand piano is an excellent preparation for concerts, competitions and even music studies.
With the new grand piano, the music school is expanding its range of lessons, which Natalia Gamper, who joined the teaching team in November and has over 20 years of pedagogical and artistic experience, is looking forward to. After studying piano and pedagogy, the piano teacher also studied cultural mediation in Detmold. In her lessons, she aims to introduce children, young people and adults to piano playing in a playful and imaginative way and to discover the wonderful and rich world of music and all its playing possibilities together.
