This year's special feature: days of remembrance and action that can be discovered in the new booklet. Various institutions such as the UN, the World Health Organization and UNESCO are calling for these special days. Participants can discover many of these commemoration and action days by turning the pages of the current program booklet. The World Energy Saving Day can be found in the Politics/Environment section; the Children's Theater Day in the Young Volkshochschule section; the Skills Acquisition Day in the IT section, the German-French Day in the Languages section and many more....
Those who embark on a voyage of discovery will find new and tried-and-tested courses: 92 health courses, 65 language courses, 83 IT courses, 39 courses on culture and design; 29 courses in the area of work and career; 48 courses on politics, society and the environment as well as 41 courses in the "young vhs". The popular science magazine "vhs.wissen.live" continues with 20 online lectures.
Some examples of courses: Survival training for tough dads and brave kids; using energy correctly in the home; object art made from wire and plaster papier-mâché; stress management through mindfulness; survival in difficult times-thinking in solutions; outdoor yoga or Japanese archery; lectures on current topics or professional development courses. With such a varied program, there is sure to be something for everyone who wants to start the new spring together.
Particularly pleasing: the semester will once again open with cabaret. On Thursday, January 26, Rena Schwarz will be a guest at the Kulturscheune in Lebenstedt from 7 pm! Guests can look forward to a special fairytale hour...
